Catalogue Production

The elements of our specialist auction catalogue service have evolved over six generations of working with, and listening to, auctioneers, specialists, cataloguers and administrators.

This expertise means that our production staff plan each catalogue's journey in advance covering all stages of production from the date the copy and images are needed to the day it will be printed to when it will land on doorsteps or be delivered to you.  A written schedule is drawn up and agreed with you.  This schedule is designed around your needs and because we understand auctioneers' procedures and problems, we have a high degree of flexibility.

Catalogues can be produced from many different types of original source: traditionally typeset from hand written copy; laser printed pages used as original artwork; files from specialist auctioneers software packages; desk top publishing and word processor programmes; or data can be sent using email and FTP

We can also convert catalogues for publishing on the Internet, either through clients' own service providers or on our own free clients' site, Auction-net.

Our service can also include the confidential mailing of catalogues direct to subscribers immediately they are printed. This not only saves the auctioneer's staff valuable time and effort but also means that catalogues reach their destination in the quickest possible time.

We would be pleased to visit you to discuss your catalogues and provide detailed written quotations. These visits can usually be arranged at short notice and are always entirely without obligation.
